Amyand Park Chapel was founded on Friday, 18 October 1889. Prior to this a local Baptist Church ran a Gospel Hall which grew and eventually those in attendance wanted to form their own independent church. Thus, Amyand Park Chapel was established, with an initial membership of about forty-two members.
By the beginning of 1890 a church building, a corrugated iron structure, had been erected on the present site. It served until 1951 when the present brick-built building was erected. Dr Martin Lloyd Jones preached at the opening of the new building.

We have links with several other sister churches in the immediate area. If you are not able to attend Amyand Park Chapel but are in the south-west London area, we would warmly recommend any of these churches:
At Amyand Park Chapel, we take the matter of safeguarding extremely seriously. We are committed to taking all reasonable steps to protect every person from physical, emotional or sexual abuse. Our policy applies to all our leaders and volunteers. Contact details for our Safeguarding leads—and information on how to report a concern if you are worried about a child, young person or adult who you feel is vulnerable and may be at risk, or if you think someone is a risk to others—are available on the noticeboards in the church building..
